Wine Down with Yoga at Highland Stables Social Club

Highland Stables Social Club launched its very first event, Wine Down with Yoga, on September 18, 2025. The evening brought women from across Bowling Green, KY, together for yoga, wine, charcuterie, and community connection.
Yoga with Mekayla VanWyk
The night began with an all-levels yoga session led by Mekayla VanWyk. Guests rolled out their mats inside the barn at Highland Stables and enjoyed a relaxing flow designed to stretch, reset, and bring calm after a busy day. Whether new to yoga or a regular participant, everyone was able to enjoy the class in a welcoming atmosphere.
Wine from Bluegrass Vineyard
Following yoga, guests gathered to enjoy wine provided by Bluegrass Vineyard, a local Kentucky winery. The tasting added a special touch to the evening, giving attendees the chance to sip, relax, and spend time with both new and familiar faces.
Charcuterie by The Blessed Board
A beautiful charcuterie spread, provided by The Blessed Board, paired perfectly with the wine. As the title sponsor for Wine Down with Yoga, The Blessed Board played a key role in making the evening possible. Their display was a highlight of the event and gave everyone the chance to enjoy fresh, local flavors.
Building Community in Bowling Green, KY
Wine Down with Yoga set the tone for what the Highland Stables Social Club is all about—bringing women together for fun, relaxing, and meaningful monthly events while also supporting local businesses. This combination of wellness, food, and community created the perfect first gathering.
Next Up: Ghoul’s Night Out
We’re already looking ahead to our October event, Ghoul’s Night Out, on October 16, 2025. The evening will feature a charm bar, delicious food from Wicked Potato food truck, and festive drinks with wine from Bluegrass Vineyard.
